Serge Dagueneau Et Filles Pouilly Fume 2006
Loire Valley, France
Retail Price: $48.00 Star Wine Offer: $38.40
Somewhat wild nose displaying savoury, meaty notes interspersed with intense aromas of fresh mown grass and chopped herbs. A razor sharp backbone of crisp acidity nicely balances the concentrated green apple and citrus fruit flavours. Long, fruity finish. Drink now.

As one might expect, the 2007 Cotes du Rhone Les Quatres Terres is bursting with fruit. It offers plenty of black cherry, licorice, garrigue, and pepper characteristics along with a Provencal personality, and excellent purity. It is a delicious red to enjoy over the next several years. Montes Alpha Carmenere 2007
Rapel Valley, Chile
Retail Price: $50.00 Star Wine Offer: $40.00
The 2007 Alpha Carmenere is a superb rendition of this fascinating grape variety. A saturated purple in color, it has a superb aromatic array of spice, lavender, incense, smoke, and blueberry. Layered, plush, and concentrated, it has excellent depth and grip, enough well-hidden structure to evolve for several years, and a long, fruit filled finish. Drink it from 2012 to 2020.

Napa Angel ‘By Montes’ Aurelio’s Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Napa Valley, California
Retail Price: $122.00 Star Wine Offer: $97.60
Full-bodied wine with firm, soft tannins. Deep and intense garnet red. Rich and harmonious with an integrated, mature and mellow fruit character that makes this wine elegant and silky and opulent at the same time. In the mouth-feel it has a lingering character given by the Oak Knoll and Yountville gravely terroirs. Generous fruit expression with hints of blackberries, plums and layers of black cherries. Velvety in the mid palate, with nuances of perfectly integrated French oak. Nice long finish. A wine to be aged for at least 15 years or to be enjoyed now.

These aromas light the path to a soft, well rounded palate with a luscious mouth feel and pronounced fruit characters. The finish is limey and assertive.
