2012 was a significant milestone for Chateau Pavie of St-Emilion, Bordeaux. It was the year that saw its promotion from a Premier Grand Cru Classé B since 1954, to the highest strata of Premier Grand Cru Classé A, joining the ranks of Chateau Cheval Blanc and Chateau Ausone.
So that year, Chateau Pavie decidedly donned a new look - black label with gold print - to celebrate its own achievement. A nod that hard work does pay off.
This is definitely the bottle of choice for celebrations. A top-notch wine that doubles as a wine for celebrations.
