"Good news: 2016 is a seriously delicious vintage." - Jancis Robinson MW
Expectedly, Domaine Hubert Lignier has produced, yet again, outstandingly dense and exuberant wines.
Domaine Hubert Lignier is a resolute winery that jealously guards its wine quality. Attempt their wines when you are serious about imbibing Pinot Noirs of concentration, depth and structure that they are distinguished for. Founded in the 1880s, traditional practices still dominate their work today. Fermentation period is rather extended to allow complexity of flavours to coalesce and unravel. Wines are never filtered nor filtrated, so the fruit integrity is assuredly preserved.
The discouraging news is that 2016 wines are very limited in quantity due to low yields. With low supplies and high demand, prices tend to climb. But fret not - we are tilting the price scale of this new release in your favour.
