"Dense and very, very deep" - James Suckling 100 Points
It looks to be another landmark year for Chile. Thanks to the newly released Almaviva 2017, reaping a 100 points from James Suckling.
But of course, given that Almaviva is the brainchild of Baron Rothschild from Chateau Mouton Rothschild, and Chile's pre-eminent Concha y Toro. This stunner is a Bordeaux-blend made predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon. The great terroir is located at the highest point of the Puente Alta valley. Can't be more resonating that Almaviva is, for a fact, flying high now.
There is no higher score.
