100 Years of Quality
The winemaking legacy at Beaulieu Vineyard remains unbroken for more than a century. It is a story of one of the longest continually operating winery in the Napa Valley.
New World Wine, Old World Style
French native founder Georges de Latour laid eyes on this beautiful vineyard land in 1900. That's how the name Beaulieu is derived; it is French for "beautiful place". Georges de Latour was determined to make Napa Valley wines that will rival those of his native France.
The First Napa Cult Wine was born
In 1941, Beaulieu Vineyard released its first vintage of Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, which became Napa Valley’s first “cult” Cabernet.
“I’d wager that there are so many Napa Cabernets made today that if you stacked them one by one, they’d reach all the way to the moon. But if you stacked them in order of historical significance with the most profound bottles forming the base, the number one bottle would have to be Beaulieu Vineyard’s legendary Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.” - Jonathan Cristaldi, Food & Wine magazine
The Beaulieu Vineyard Range
Of course, the highly-rated Georges de Latour cult wine is a brilliant and superlative piece of skill. But high praises and accolades are showered upon its entire wine range. If you are seeking affordability and wallet-friendly wines, you can take comfort that all their wines give absolute pleasure; quality assured.
